Nature Girl was created by Molly Sue Baskett, age 9, at the Free Comic Book Day Superhero contest. Nature Girl’s secret identity is Amanda George and her birthday is April 22, Earth Day! One day Amanda was hiking in the woods when a bomb exploded a few miles away from where she was hiking. The explosion caused Amanda to become mixed with the forest material and thus Nature Girl was born! She can generate and ride on tornados and has the ability to throw plasma bombs. Nature Girl lives in a cottage in the woods where she can collect the leaves she uses to make her clothes and costume and watch over the Earth to protect it from her arch enemy Mr. Pollution.
